What is Holidays without sparkly jewelry?
A jewelry is a piece of art that enhance a complete wardrobe; it is the main piece to give a luxury status to an outfit. These pieces, are mostly made with unique materials, like gems, gold/silver metals, crystals or simply colorful stones that, no matter it's price, makes it special and something you want to treasure for life.
Jewels, comes in necklaces, bangles, rings, earrings forms, but, it's pretty fabulous when we find it in clutches, belts and of course, shoes also. It is very usual that we cherish a great pair of handmade heels depending on how magnificent we find it's materials. I have a vintage belt that my mom got when she was 16, it wasn't expensive and is still intact, the color of the stones (fake ones) are exactly like the first time she wore it, super colorful and versatile; So, that's my idea of a great piece of jewelry for good!
Back to were we started, we use jewerly to give life to an outfit, it is the perfect way to convert a simple outfit into a fancy one. This is what holiday looks are about, we add as much as sparkle as we like to make it absolutely shiny as the season allows you to.
I picked six different types of outfit that you can wear for holidays based on jewelry. First chose the jewel then the garments, like I did with these collection. Also, I have a few tips that you have to remember when chosing your accessories:
- For V neck garments, choose larger necklaces, something that keeps the line of the piece you are wearing, just to make your neck a little more stylized. Its is super sexy as much as fancy if you are wearing a deep cleavage.
- When you choose an embroidery garment for a full outfit, try to wear as less jewelry as you can, be subtle otherwise can look vulgar. Pick a small earrings, a clutch that can be subtle embroidered too, and if you want to add color, try it on a ring for long sleeve or a bracelet if you are wearing a short sleeve garment.
- If you want to give a different color touch to your monochromatic look, choose one, two different colors tops. Don't turn your outfit into a carnival please! Just with a small pop of color your creativity is set.
- Remember, always remember that if you are wearing a statement jewelry, something big or so, never, for no reason you can wear the whole set, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, clutch, stop immediately!!! The set, maybe is allowed only is the pieces are super subtle, super subtle! Unless, you wanna look like a times square costume freak!

Qué son las festividades sin joyas que te hagan brillar?
Una joya es una pieza de arte que resalta un armario completo; es la pieza principal para dar un estatus lujoso a un atuendo. Estas piezas son, en su mayoría, hechas con materiales únicos como gemas, metales en oro/plata, cristales o simplemente piedras coloridas que, no importa su precio, lo hacen especial y algo que querrás atesorar de por vida.
Las joyas vienen en forma de collares, aretes, brazaletes, anillos, pero, es fabuloso cuando lo encontramos también en sobres, cinturones y por supuesto zapatos. Es muy usual que queramos apreciar un gran par de tacones hechos a mano dependiendo de lo maravilloso que encontramos sus materiales. Yo tengo un cinturón vintage que mi mamá obtuvo cuanto tenía 16 años, no fué caro y todavía sigue intacto, el color de las piedras(falsas)están exactamente como la primera vez que lo usó, súper colorido y muy versátil; Entonces, ésta es mi idea de una gran joya para siempre!
Volviendo a donde estábamos, usamos una joya para darle vida a un atuendo, es la manera perfecta de convertir un simple atuendo en uno elegante. De ésto se tratan las festividades, añadimos todo el brillo que queramos para hacerlo absolutamente radiante cómo la temporada te lo permite.
Escogí seis tipos diferentes de atuendos que puedes usar basado en las joyas. Primero escoge la joya y luego el resto de las prendas como hice en mi colección. También, tengo unos tips que debes recordar cuando escojas tus accesorios:
- Para prendas de cuelo en V, escoge collares largos, algo que mantenga la línea de la pieza que usas, sólo para hacer tu cuello un poco más estilizado. Es súper sexy a la vez que elegante si lo usas con un escote profundo.
- Cuando escojas una prenda bordada para un atuendo completo, trata de usar lo menos que puedas de joyas, se sutil o de lo contrario se verá vulgar. Selecciona unos aretes pequeños, estilo topo, el sobre puede ser con un bordado sutil también y si quieres añadir un poco de color, con mangas largas, en un anillo o en un brazalete si es una prenda manga corta.
- Si deseas darle un toque de color a un look monocromático, escoge uno, dos colores diferentes máximo. No conviertas tu atuendo en un carnaval por favor! Solo con un pequeño toque tu creatividad estará establecida.
- Recuerda, siempre recuerda que si vas a usar una pieza declaración, algo grande o así, nunca, por ninguna razón puedes usar todo el set de joyas, aretes, anillos, brazaletes, collar, sobre, Para inmediatamente! El set, sólo está permitido si llevas piezas muy sutiles, muy sutiles! A menos que quieras lucir como un disfraz de times square!
