Plaid has been trendy quite a few months now, but this fall, enters strong enough to notice much more.
Honestly, I have two mixed feelings with this trend. First, I love how it looks on coats, then, I see it on sloppy outfits and I cannot stand it. My love/hate situation depends on how many cool items can be used to pairing it with.
Personally, I only recommend coats, shirts and dresses, careful with dresses, I prefer black and white plaid because works almost like a neutral, easy to combine and you cannot look overcharged than with a color plaid dress.
The thing with skirts or shorts, is that it could tend to make your outfit look like a schoolgirl or like a scottish costume. We have those garments so associated with that type of outfits.
One piece in your outfit is more than enough, subtleness is the key.
When pairing, try to avoid the color that highlighted the most on your plaid pattern, just to not make it so predictable.
Different kinds of patterns can be mixed between them, with plaid, pick plain hues. The pattern itself is too heavy and needs a balance to make it simple and glamorous.
The accessories, whatever you feel like it, there's no limit as usually.

El tartán ha estado de moda hace unos cuantos meses, pero éste otoño, entra lo suficientemente fuerte para notarlo mucho más.
Honestamente, tengo dos sentimientos encontrados con ésta tendencia. Primero, amo cómo luce en abrigos, luego, lo veo en outfits descuidados y no lo soporto. Mi situación amor/odio depende de cuántos items interesantes se usen para combinarlo.
Personalmente, sólo recomiendo abrigos, camisas y vestidos, mucho cuidado con los vestidos, prefiero un tartán en blanco y negro porque funciona como un neutro, fácil de combinar y no podrías lucir tan recargada que como con un vestido tartán de colores.
Lo que ocurre con las faldas o shorts, es que tiende a hacer que tu outfit luzca como una colegiala o como un traje escocés. Tenemos muy asociados esas prendas con ésos tipos de outfits.
Una pieza es más que suficiente, sutileza es la clave.
Cuando estás combinando, intenta evitar el color que resalta más en el estampado tartán , sólo para no hacerlo predecible.
Diferentes tipos de estampados pueden ser mezclados entre ellos, con el tartán, escoge tonos planos. El mismo estampado es muy pesado y necesita equilibrarse para hacerlo más simple y glamuroso.
Los accesorios, cualquiera que desees, no hay limites como es usual.
