One of the things that can define a woman with astonishing precison is the amount of stuff we throw in our bags before going out. Then, of course, there's how we complement this.
I'm no psychoanalyst, but from the bits of wisdom I've aquired in my short years ;) I can form a pretty good idea of a woman's attitude depending on the purse she's wearing. Your bag can lead you to many different kinds of styles, but ultimatley it's not the bag, but what goes with it which will dictate your style. Quick example: You can wear a totally classic bag, but pairing it with more edgy pieces will create a totally different look.
The stuff you throw inside your bag is precisely what complements the message you send out through it; even though very few people are going to see it, it constitutes the personal opinion you have about yourself. It's no secret that many of us tend to try and cram our entire closets in there. The phrase "just in case" tends to accompany this behaviour, doesn't it? But although different styles of bags will either maximize or minimize what goes in there, personalities will certeinly pop up through every single item we carry.
This post is about both, the outside and the inside of one of our favorite fashion accesories, because both have the power of projecting your style. First I choose the bag, then the stuff I need to carry out, and finally, the outfit that will make it all glow.
For the first look I chose a Fringe bag, which gives a bohemian vibe to the outfit. Paired it with a colorful wallet, retro style oversized sunglasses that perfectley works with boho and a basic make up, eyeliner, mascara and a soft lipstick. This defines a chic retro girl, that loves to combine colors. An orange dress and a vintage navy touch with accesories that set it, a pair of heels that says glamour. Nothing complicated, but with the essential goal of looking fabulous.
Second, this classic with a twist of color bag works out for virtually anything, any event at day or night, so I tried to reflect this with the outfit. This bag says so much about myself, I carry so much things in my bag that I don't even know how I spend the whole day with it. There are things that I miss but, the basics are there, a notebook, so I can write notes about thing that pop in your mind. I personally don't like phone notes, not sure why, but I've always thought that pencils are safer and more personal! The outfit has a monochrome vibe, something you can wear all day for work and still kill at at the bar with your gals.
And my third, the perfect clutch to a night out. Pair it with colors, mix and match, nothing too elaborate but very creative. In a clutch always put what fits in it, a lipstick, keys and phone; it is very grotesque when a clutch doesn't close or when it´s very very tight, so please use exactly what you need.
The main idea is that what we are what we need in our bags. Keep it clean, but keep it...you!

Una de las cosas que define a una mujer con precisión es la cantidad de artículos que carga en su cartera antes de salir. Y por supuesto, como complementamos ésto.
No soy una psicoanalista, pero, los pedacitos de sabiduría que he adquirido en mis cortos años ;), puedo formarme una buena idea de la actitud de una mujer dependiendo de la cartera que lleva. Tu cartera puede guiarte a diferentes tipos de estilo, pero al final no es la cartera sino lo que va con ella lo que determina tu estilo. Por ejemplo, puedes tener una bolsa totalmente clásica pero al combinarla con piezas un poco más lanzadas creas un look visual súper diferente.
Las cosas que pones dentro es precisamente lo que complementa el mensaje que envías a través de ella; aunque muy pocas personas van a verlo, constituye una opinión personal de tí misma. No es un secreto para nadie que tendemos a llevar el closet entero si podemos dentro, "por si acaso" tiende a acompañar ésta clase de comportamiento, o no?, pero aunque los diferentes estilos de carteras pueden llevarnos a maximizar o minimizar lo que llevamos dentro, ciertamente, son las personalidades las que saltan a la vista con cada item que cargamos.
Esta entrada es acerca de ambos, el exterior y el interior de una de nuestros accesorios de moda favoritos, ya que los dos tienen el poder de proyectar nuestro estilo. Primero, escogí la cartera, luego los artículos que vamos a llevar y finalmente, el atuendo que va a hacer que todo brille.
Para el primer look, escogí una cartera de flecos, la cual le trae una vibra bohemia al atuendo. Combinado con una billetera colorida, gafas súper grandes de estilo retro que funciona perfecto con el boho y un maquillaje básico, lápiz de ojos, pestañina y un labial suave. Este define una chica retro y chic, que ama combinar colores, un vestido naranja y accesorios con vibra vintage color navy que dan ese toque, un par de tacones que dicen glamour. Nada complicada pero con lo esencial para lucir fabulosa.
Segundo, ésta cartera clásica con un giro de color que funciona para todo, cualquier evento de día o de noche, por eso quise reflejar eso en el atuendo. La cartera dice mucho acerca de mí misma. Yo cargo con tantas cosas, que no sé cómo logro pasar todo el día con ella. Hay algunas cosas que se no están, pero, lo necesario está, un cuaderno para que pueda escribir las cosas que se me pasan por la mente. Personalmente no me gustan las notas en los celulares, no estoy segura del por qué, pero siempre he pensado que los lápices son más seguros y personales! El atuendo tiene una vibra monocromática, algo que puedes usar para el trabajo y luego iluminar el bar con tus amigas.
Y mi tercero, el sobre perfecto para una salida de noche. Combinado con colores, mezcla y empareja, nada muy elaborado pero muy creativo. En un sobre, siempre pon lo que le cabe, un labial, llaves y el teléfono; es muy grotesco cuando el sobre no cierra o está demasiado apretado, entonces por favor usa exactamente lo que necesitas.
La idea principal es que somos lo que necesitamos dentro de nuestras carteras. Mantenla limpia pero mantenla... Tú!
